Spanish associations of producers and marketers of live flowers and plants joined together in the Spanish Federation of Associations of Producers and Exporters of Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers and Live Plants, or FEPEX, have launched the promotional, information-based campaign “Flourishing Europe: Plant Life!

The programme’s objective is to inform Europeans about the benefits that plants and flowers can bring to our lives and to promote their consumption, and will take place in Spain and Germany.

Financed with the help of the European Union, Flourishing Europe has a total investment of around €500,000 and will last 12 months, from April 2021 to April 2022. The focus of the campaign is to disseminate content primarily through digital media.

The main objective of the promotional, information-based campaign Flourishing Europe: Plant Life! is to promote the consumption of plants and flowers.. This will be achieved through the key messages of the campaign:

  • The presence of plants and flowers in our lives can have emotional and physical benefits.
  • Plants and flowers should be included in all our living spaces as essential elements in our lives.
  • Plants and flowers are ideal presents that communicate our warm wishes and appreciation of others.
  • Plants and flowers should be classified as basic necessities.
